Why I’m Doing This

       When creating a blog, an obvious question comes to mind: Why?  Non-bloggers argue that people could make more productive use of their time, but there must be some benefit to blogging or millions of people wouldn’t do it.  For some, blogs are a way to share their lives with others and meet new people.  For others, blogging simply fulfills a desire to express themselves and to let their opinions be heard.  However, I think that the most fundamental element of blogging is communication, which is essentially what this blog is all about.  It’s important for people to connect with each other by making observations and really listening to what people have to say.  In this blog, I hope to explore new ideas about where technology is going and how we’re getting there.  As we discover new concepts and devices, we can learn more about communicating with others and how the way we interact is changing.  After all, if we can’t communicate effectively, we can’t exchange information.  If we can’t exchange information, then we can’t learn.  If we can’t learn, then…well, what good are we?  Learning helps us grow and achieve things that we never thought possible.  So check back for posts, leave comments, and maybe even start a blog of your own.  Let’s keep the lines of communication open…
